I knew it was only a matter of time. A move to change the constitution has started. The wording is what counts. Applies to only those who won twice, but not in a row..so only Trump qualifies

He better makes that move asap.

Trump could be the president for life if that life extends
into the time after he kicks the bucket within his 2nd term.

Maybe he can make J. D. Vance president for life. I bet
Vance has been secretly praying for his demise.

Section 1
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Except the 22A doesn't just apply to president's elected twice in a row.

22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified on February 27, 1951. ( How succinctly appropriate for Trump )

Section 1:

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term."
You can make the legal argument that since he claims to have been elected and served in his first term and then won the election and did not serve a second consecutive term because the election was stolen from him disqualifies him from serving in this current and third term in office.

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution states: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice." This wording focuses on the act of being elected rather than the actual service or completion of terms. If Trump were to claim that he won both the 2016 and 2020 elections, he would have been elected to the presidency twice under this interpretation. Whether or not he served his second term would be immaterial under the plain meaning of the text.

It'll further the fall of the american empire but its highly unlikely that trump lives through even this 4 year term, the guy is so unhealthy and already senile.
