Transwomen were always housed along with male inmates and were moved to women's units because of the rapes.
Now they are being moved back.

Remember 2 things though.
First, an EO can be rescinded as fast as it is passed which is why EOs are looked down upon.
This EO can be challenged in court and stayed, or rescinded in 4 years when the Republicans lose.
Second, you live in Canada, where none of this stuff is changing.
So all your chest thumping is going to be relegated to social media.

There are tons of arguments for calling the US names, such as the pathetic situation with healthcare, gun violence, violent crime, private prisons, oligarchies controlling the government etc.,
If you dont want people in other countries to insult you, then you need to behave in ways where you are respected.
Unfortunately Trump has made the US the laughing stock of the world.
He has not only enacted very backward domestic policies, but also threatened allies.
Previously people hated the US chiefly for its aggressive foreign policy and interference in other countries.
Now they laugh at it too.
Even western nations are repulsed by what goes on in the US.
I am not being emotional.

I see this as a personal decision that others should not have any input into.
