What? You didn't tell the teller you were a porn star and just fucked 10 blonde college girls to earn it?Ya. I have had an account with the Royal Bank for 40 years. Sold a car last year for $5000.00 Tried to deposit the cash. Then the inquisition started. The teller wouldn't accept the money without an explanation. Said she had to talk to her manager. Where did the money come from? I told her from selling a used car. Fucking unreal.
You aren't taking into account I was there in person. What? You didn't tell the teller you were a porn star and just fucked 10 blonde college girls to earn it?
Ok...tell her you just got a blow job from Rosanne Barr and she paid you.You aren't taking into account I was there in person.
That's more like it.Ok...tell her you just got a blow job from Rosanne Barr and she paid you.
If you play at a casino, do you have to hit big in order for your cash to come out clean?ever wonder why average looking guys play big on roulette in Casinos? it comes out clean when you hit big. A buddy of mine who died a few years back had a huge cash business. he does a lot of renovations jobs and does cash sometimes...he bought a car in kijiji for 4k cash. after a year, sold it and bought another car for 7k cash...and every year he bought something better until he finally got a car for 18k cash then trade it in for a nice mercedes sprinter van for his business...he was smart with his money i guess...
you don't need to win big in one shot....you just have to play. those clean up money is just for fast play and dash...50k dirty money needs to be clean even if it only comes out 40k...now this was the story i was told back in BC way back around the 90s ... drug trafficking groups used this.... i think this where "breaking bad" also got their IdeaIf you play at a casino, do you have to hit big in order for your cash to come out clean?
What's stopping someone from putting a few grand on the account, playing a few slots without hitting the jackpot, and then cashing out?
If you're cashing out at the casino, does it matter if it was your own money or winnings that you just won?
Thanks. Having cash that is burning a hole in your pocket is still a good problem to have.you don't need to win big in one shot....you just have to play. those clean up money is just for fast play and dash...50k dirty money needs to be clean even if it only comes out 40k...now this was the story i was told back in BC way back around the 90s ... drug trafficking groups used this.... i think this where "breaking bad" also got their Idea
why do you consider it a problem? Thanks. Having cash that is burning a hole in your pocket is still a good problem to have.
I agree… some banks, or should I say tellers lol are worse than others. I remember years ago, I used to make large business deposits at my bank on a regular basis. This one teller would always give me the evil eye even though she knew who I was , and had dealt with her many times. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I took a cashier’s cheque in for deposit. I think the amount may have been $13,000 or so. Not a huge sum of money by any means but again, this lady gave me problems and took it over to her manager who promptly waved her approval. I had enough, so I called her over and promptly informed her of what had been transpiring. I told both of them that this was going to stop right now, or I’d be closing all of my accounts and taking my business to one of their competitors. Never had an issue again lolYa it's supposed to be 10 000 and up but pretty much anything over a grand or two is now considered suspicious at most financial institutions. Which is fucking ridiculous.
Never mind, I was taking cash OUT of the RBC from my account and was questioned why I was taking so much cash out.Ya it's supposed to be 10 000 and up but pretty much anything over a grand or two is now considered suspicious at most financial institutions. Which is fucking ridiculous.
CIBC definitely spits out 100's now.For time, the atm just spits out $50s. Very seldom $100 bills are available. So I go with $50s
Sounds like you are formulating a plan. Here's a possible tip.Never mind, I was taking cash OUT of the RBC from my account and was questioned why I was taking so much cash out.
They would only allow me to take out 3k a day. (Though I figured out that I could go to another branch that same day and get another 3k.)
And In case you were wondering, at the start of COVID, I wanted to have some cash on hand should things go completely sideways. The world was beginning to panic and I got sucked up in it. And if another similar situation were to occur, damn straight, I'd do the same thing again. In such crazy events I still believe having cash on hand is a good plan of action. If there was a war and the whole net goes down, you're fucked. If it's a cataclysmic war, well then it won't matter. If you survive, the only thing you might be able to use to trade with is gold. I don't have any gold and I can only imagine where the price would go if suddenly a major war were to occur.

Ya, I cash $5000 in $100s of the kid's RESP via a cheque for this 'activity'. Sometimes I get the $5K cash few questions, other times quite a few identity verification. It's odd. It's the same when withdrawing at banks now.
Withdrawing a paltry $2k? They want to know why.
It's my money, why do I have to tell anyone how I intend to use it.
