But, he is claiming that he needs a new mandate to do such things.

Which is it?

He can't legitimately and believably cry, "folks, folks, folks I can't possibly act without a new mandate from an 18-month early election that I'm bribing you with $3.4billion worth of loans using rube taxpayers as collateral" all the while acting without an alleged mandate in the first place.

Which is it you lying sack of corruption?

Doug should run for Prime Minister of Canada. The only person that can take on Trump.

And the great Canadian bourbon is found where?
Who said anything about Canadian bourbon?
Whiskey is supposed to be scotch and preferably single malt. Tequila is supposed to be Mexican. champagne is supposed to be from champagne. Cognac is supposed to be from Cognac.
Wine is supposed to be from France, Italy, or Spain

American alcohol is for Americans. It’s about as amazing as McDonald’s 🤮

Your words: “ any of it is immediately replaceable.”

My words: if it’s “immediately replaceable“ where is the replacement for bourbon?
Bourbon is supposed to be American. Not the donkey piss you’re spewing on about but REAL whiskey.

I couldn’t give a fuck what you drink, I drink bourbon, so where is it’s “immediate replacement“ as you so recklessly claim?

You move to rye, which is a more Canadian drink.
Or you move to the US to bask in the orange glow.

There is no true Canadian bourbon. In reality, only Kentucky bourbon should be called Bourbon. But over the years, somehow, any US Bourbon could hold the appellation (I haven't read how that happened).

I used to (I stopped drinking completely in early 2024) like Scotch or whisky much more than Bourbon, which I usually find way too strong in the mouth. But saying those are piss compared to Bourbon simply means you have no taste at all or you have this blind love for the US stuff only.

The funny thing is some of the best Canadian whisky (12-year Canadian club) is actually aged in Bourbon-based oak barrels, and so are some of Jameson's best Scotch. So you see these makers are not pissing on any other brand and are ready to mix the best to produce the best.

As for wine in America (Canada, US, Chile, Argentina...), most production comes from Europeans who bought land in America (which is next to impossible in Europe) to make production of wine. And they now produce wines on par with European wine. Heck, they simply applied their savoir-faire over here ;)
