George Sault, 32, of Toronto, has 75 criminal convictions against him. He was out on bail facing trial for auto theft and flight from police charges stemming from a previous incident.

Here's a suggestion, maybe throw him in jail for a while. Before he kills someone.

Even better,....shoot that fucker dead. A few lead filled examples may deter others with similar ideas. Those cops are lucky none of them died or were seriously maimed. Canada once again soft on crime. Pathetic.

The ratio of dirt bags to innocent citizens on our streets will just keep growing.

Cops need to draw their pistols in the face of those dirt bags more often.

Just cuff the guy, lay him on the road, and take the car he has stolen and drive over him.
Then take him in for booking.

He might make bail.
But he would not be out walking the next weekend to steal the next car.

I'm just waiting for city council to use an incident like this as justification for more more speed cameras, traffic calming measures and bike lanes. lol

Since Toronto and Ontario as a whole has so many violent criminals, if they going to put more of them away for longer periods of time, they'd better start building more detention centers and jails. From what I understand, Poilievre wants tougher sentences for violent criminals, which I totally support. At least repeat offenders can't commit more crimes when they're locked up. Which isn't a bad thing. The current catch and release program certainly isn't working.

It's crazy eh? Judges, lawyers and the legal system coming together as one, using all their brain power making these type of decisions. You probably noticed on the news the Police Officers driving the wrong way on the 401 being reprehended as they should be. Everyone who was involved in this case should also be reprehended.
What kind of loopholes does the system accommodate for criminals like this? Man, Canada really cares for their criminals more than the people who put them in jail. It's clear why the city always needs to hire Police Officers because they are never locked away. They are always released and back to committing crime. Could you imagen this happening in Dubai? Actually it wouldn't. Criminals know their territory and realize what they can or cant do. They would be too scared to deal with authorities in Asia or Middle East. I don't even have the balls to travel with vape to Singapore:). I would end up in the slammer:).

Dumbest, yet most self-revealing, comment in this thread.

If motor vehicle drivers would just follow the rules of the road and make safety and social responsibility as their utmost driving concern, then none of your and their bellyaching would ever be bleated again from here to Timbuktu!

This, "Criminals know their territory", they're smarter than our dumb legislators and parole officers and they know what they can get away with and where.

Next time you or your buddy are hit with any type of false allegation of assault or abuse, maybe say to the bail court judge that "there should be less bail given".

Jail's cosy at this time to year and you can make new friends...

False allegations? This piece of shit has 75 previous convictions. At what point do you say, enough is enough?
