We saw the 5 foot 1 female secret service agents scrambling during the attempted assassination on Trump.

Now we have Cali burning, partly because of the black female mayor who funnelled money into things like libraries while cutting the budget for the fire department (amidst "climate change" which sees unusually high dryness and increasing forest fires in LA), and a lesbian fire chief whose highest priority is getting more gays and women hired into the fire department instead of anyone capable and competent enough to fight fires.

Her race or her sexual orientation have absolutely nothing to do with a wildfire.
The budget was cut 2% from 837M to 820M.
The LAFD already very likely had readiness plans for such fires given these fires have happened for a very long time.
There is no evidence to suggest that the 2% cut would have greatly reduced those capabilities.
This is yet another opportunity for the MAGA cult to string unrelated things together to push their divisive agenda.

We are not talking about a huge change in Budget. LA City's Fire Department appropriation for FY 2025 is 6.36% of the City's Budget and was 6.37% of the City's 2024 Budget. Yes Library went up but the decrease in LA City's fire department budget is not due to the Library.

Blame is not all on the City. The County, who is not controlled by the Mayor, also reduced the LA County Fire Department's Budget.

For LA's current situation they are getting Funds from the State and Fed's to help the situation. Fire Fighters and resources from Sacramento and around the Country are coming in to help with the situation in LA.

California is also the most important economic engine in the US. That single state generates almost 4 trillion a year. It's been historically left-wing for decades upon decades now. So is the economy because of DEI and leftism too? Or are we only allowed to blame bad things on DEI?

8 red states out of 10 are the poorest in the country. I guess you don't worry much about dei when there is no jobs...

From what I read she cut out a lot of money out of the fire departments budget.

If Climate change is such a threat why wasn’t the budget increased?

James Woods may be a climate change denier but based on voting results it’s likely that most residents of these areas are Democrats and they believe in climate change. Why would they buy a house in such a vulnerable area?

James Wood is a red neck Trumper.

The rich build or buy these house in vulnerable area, just like they do on the cost of Miami, because they can ;)

Paris Hilton lost her beach house in Pacific Palisade. It was one out of 4 houses she has. Well 3 now. The house was empty. These rich can handle the consequences. You would be fucking surprise at how many rich property are fully empty.

Also many rich people loan every property they have (house or yacht) to very low interest rate (backed by their money assets).

You’re describing a tiny amount of people effected by this.

The average income in PP is 200k. Most of the people feeling the brunt of this are not “rich” enough

Politicians blame climate change so they can escape accountability. The mayor of LA was warned about this and still went to Ghana. I’m sick of “Let them eat cake” attitude politicians.

According to Trump it's not because they don't have white males in charge it'd because they don't use rakes

Why did Obama buy an oceanfront home if the water levels are rising?
