in the UK vaccination is nearly 90% of youth, in the US quite low at 50%... and even lower since covid due to vaccine paranoia.

There are many HPV strains that gardasil does not protect against. I think it only covers around 9.

All true and as a senior I have reluctantly given up DATY as part of the hobby. It's too late for us to get the benefits of Gardasil, but not too late to be in the small minority to get cancer.
Known this for awhile. And if you contract an HPV strain (there are only certain strains associated with sexual intercourse) PRIOR to getting Gardasil, you still have HPV. Gardasil doesn't 'cure' it.
