Ok, so it was the train that severed his body. Possible suicide, being pushed, accident, etc. Some of these news headlines are just terrible.
CTV news didn’t indicate the reason. Some lowlife took pictures and reported to US site for entertainment.

10-15 years ago I came across a suicide on the 401. Someone ran in front of cars travelling 100-120km. The news media only reported that police closed the 401 for an investigation.

I was just relieved I missed it. Judging by the cars stopped, it only happened a couple of minutes prior.

That's why I think he must be mentally ill.

It's crazy how a man can get ripped in half on the ttc and barely any coverage is on it.

Western news reporting is heavily sanitized. Gory details are usually left out due to the the sensibilities of the populace.
