REPORT: The election interference case against Trump is officially “over,” and even CNN is admitting it. CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig told Jim Acosta, “This case was already in deep trouble because of the conduct of the district attorney, Fani Willis. And now, it’s all but over.” The Georgia Court of Appeals ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is disqualified from the case due to her previously undisclosed relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. The court stated that the lower court’s decision to allow Willis to remain on the case was an “erred” judgment. Honig further explained, “Now, as a result of this case, it’s not quite dismissed, but Fani Willis and her office will be disqualified from handling it, and, as a practical matter, it now goes into a sort of purgatory for an undefined amount of time. It’s not coming back, it’s over.” Now, with Willis disqualified, the case is essentially dead. “It’s over,” Honig reiterated.
