So far the 2023 figures are a 9% decrease as compared to our 2005 levels. This would equate into a decrease of 226 Mega tonne, and in line with a target of 440 Mt set for 2030!!
This decline to 36% below the 2005 levels is within our present target thanks to the Carbon tax!!
Although, we were expected to have our emissions peaking at 2025, on the contrary we are instead sizeably reducing it!!
That would mean limiting the temperature rise below the 1.5 degrees Celsius mark above the pre-industrial levels in 2030!!
Only Climate Change deniers including the "Mr Axe the Tax" would not accept that fact!!

Yet it has also proven that the Carbon rebates have added more into the pockets of 80% of Canadians than what it has costed them as a direct result of the Carbon Tax. The rest of the costs for food and other items are a result of the Climate Impact on crops, The war in Ukraine, and Supply Chain Disruptions. You can also add the greed from some of the grocery chains margins!!
