It ever cross your mind that the $15M payment for the bullshit lawsuit was paid simply to buy Trump off from harassing and making trouble for ABC News through his entire 4-year presidency???

From my understanding of libel and defamation law, ABC likely would have won this case. But, it would have dragged on and the petty and vindictive Trump could have tried to prevent ABC's journalists from getting White House press passes or other bullshit. In my opinion, they should have fought, but I do understand the business decision.

And, while the righties on here get hard-ons thinking this shows the mainstream media is crooked....Just remember Fox had to settle for nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars with Dominion for knowingly lying about the company. This is not remotely on the same scale.

I can't think of a more pertinent jury of one's peers than the entire country.

I myself wouldn't be doubling down on the misclassification case. If you can propose some type of bet on the outcome of all this, I would be game. However, I don't think anyone knows exactly how justice will be dispensed in this case. I personally think it could just be a lot of words between Trump, Bragg and Merchan for four years and possibly beyond.

Needless to say, I think the American people were underwhelmed with this court case and others.

However, I don't think anyone knows exactly how justice will be dispensed in this case. I personally think it could just be a lot of words between Trump, Bragg and Merchan for four years and possibly beyond.

That aside, your man's next slander suit is apparently aimed at the maverick pollster who predicted a massive Kamala win in Iowa of all unlikely places and struck out badly. An expression of opinion is protected speech in libel law. So she's not sue-able for her prediction.

When and how hard is Trum-Pee going to get his balls kicked in that lawsuit? Because if he keeps doing this crap, someone's going to fight back and he's going to take a beating on the more obvious bullshit claims. The Iowa horseshit is ripe for an early motion for judicial dismissal.
