I've lived in Durham Region for a long time. It isn't quite redneck central, but you can see it from here. That may have something to do with the situation.

Yes, would be nice. What I meant is that with the sort of social attitudes here, people of colour, and especially sex workers, may find it difficult. It seems to be getting better, my street in Pickering is certainly more varied than it was 30 years ago, but I think there may still areas of Oshawa where I wouldn't want to wander if my skin wasn't lily-white. But I may be wrong.

That’s literally clients everywhere/in every city in North America. Part of of the what the job entails. You will get time wasters & guys making inquiries who can’t read. This behaviour is global not specific to the Durham Region. Yet you still advertise in Durham from time to time & complain about it. Contradictory.
You guys have to also keep in mind. These girls are younger than me. I literally had an 18 year-old crying because she didn’t make money a night. These ones they’re being led down by dark path because ht I met few girls they’re traumatized so there’s a difference
I've raised my rates recently by $100 (was $500/H all year
I have to pay just to accommodate anyone and with hotel price and incall price rising - it made sense. I’m a low volume provider
I work full time and have to maintain flexibility with that as well
So I do need to prioritize my time, energy and effort
I understand it isn’t for everyone but it's a change that has taken great thought and consideration <3

Honestly I think it's the competition. I can be at home minding my own business and I get message after message from different numbers trying to waste my time and I haven't advertised. Then it's quiet because they moved on to harassing another person. I caught one girl trying to fake book me. She's supposed to be some fantastic provider that is so loved by everyone... but she's resorting to fake booking people
I used to get harassed by low end clients but it was because a low end worker was recommending me and sending me her terrible cheap clients. She wasn't sending me her bad clients... her clientele is just crap. She thought she was doing me a favor but instead she sent me cheap, dirty people. I heard she was basically a step up from a street person and some of the clients were... street people. I wasn't impressed. Her heart was in the right place.
Call her out! Especially if she's dumb enough to use the same number she uses to take her own bookings. Screenshot it and post it so it's irrefutable. I get not wanting to cause drama or hurt someone's livelihood. However, at the same time, fuck around and find out. If her livelihood gets hurt by getting called out for fake booking other ladies, that's not your fault for calling her out, it's her fault for doing something she wouldn't want done to her thinking that she's immune to the repercussions. So if you post the receipt showing that it was in fact her number with her ad with the same number, she won't have any choice but to admit to it. Plus, if she sees this thread and then changes her number at any point, it's easy for us to connect the dots and figure out who it was.
