a 1960 Shaeffer Snorkel fountain pen. Actually my mom bought it for me. Somehow I still have it. No idea why.
Probably not the first thing that I bought, but the oldest thing I still have is a Spalding, Richie Hebner model baseball glove, wait I may have stolen it from Eaton's sporting goods dept. as I was going through a shoplifting phase back in the early 70's , LOL

My genuine Italian racing bike, 53 years ago. I wish my knees were well enough to be able to ride it again.
I can't remember the early-early things but at 16 I bought a nice set of Snap On tools and still have them!
1984 Kuwahara bmx bike. saved up $120 through chores and babysitting. couldn't afford the more expensive "factory" model, but I was so proud of that bike and made it my own with a few add-on things like a racing plate, checkered pads and new seat.

A black, full grain, leather belt in highschool, more than 2/3 of a lifetime ago. It was in regular use until a handful of years ago. Both it, and my waistline, have seen better days. 
Still have a pair of Nike Waffles I bought in 1975 in a box in storage locker, best running shoe I ever wore, it was cool looking blue uppers with the yellow swoosh:

But...seriously folks...I do have an original white silk formal jacket I bought more than 50 years ago. Beautiful garment made in Italy that would be ridiculously expensive today.
Probably some hockey cards from 1980-81. Bought with my allowance. I have the entire 1980-81 O-Pee-Chee set. One year after Gretzky's rookie (bummer) but it still has Messier's and Bourque's RC.
Breakfast in America original vinyl. I bought records before this but sadly this is the earliest one I still own.
Actually, it does still fit....I just don't have anywhere to wear it these days...which include most of my other suits....except for the occasional funeral or family wedding.Does it still fit?
Jeez, I forgot about these....Original Beatle and Led Zeppelin albums are still in the house somewhere.
