you are strange
go ask 100 random employees if they are public sector or private sector employees
95 will pick one or the other , 3 or 4 will not understand the question , and one will claim, /self identify to be a cat
You are grasping.
The citizens, aka the individual people of a country, are referenced
only as "Citizens" or "People".
They are not referenced as the private sector or the public sector.
It is completely nonsensical, a butchery of the English language and makes no sense to argue otherwise.
Private sector and public sector are used to
refer to businesses that are respectively not under government control or under government control.
As I already provided you with an example.
You dont introduce yourself as "I am John Larue. I am from private sector of Canada!". lmao.
You, as an individual, are only identified as, a citizen or as a person from a certain country.
When someone further talks about where you work, they may say you work
IN the public sector or
IN the private sector.
Aka,
IN those businesses.
But never are the phrases public sector and private sector used to reference individuals aka citizens aka people in a country.
I dont know why you keep quoting CUPE.
It does not do anything at all for your argument.
