I can play that game too.
When was the last time you encountered a government with no people?
what are you? 12?
answer the question put to you before asking a stupid question

you are the one who claimed
The private sector is a reference to businesses.
Not people.
you were asked a simple question in response to your stupid statement
its time to explain your stupid statement
when was the last time you encountered a business with no people?

BTW, one of many problems with the current govt is they have too many people
asked and answered

your turn to answer

The private sector is a reference to businesses.
Not people.
when was the last time you encountered a business with no people?

You did not answer the question.
I asked - when was the last time you encountered a government with no people and you answer that with "there are too many people"?
So I ask again.
When was the last time you encountered a government with no people?
The answer to this question should expose the faulty reasoning inherent in your question to me. So I'll wait.
And as usual when cornered with your own silly reasoning you childishly lash out and resort to repetition.

too many people > no people

too many people > no people
Okay.
So per your logic you are saying:
1. "People" count as the private sector.
2. The government is made up of people. Infact too many people you say.
So per your statement #1, it would follow that the government is the.....private sector?!
Make it make sense.
This is what happens when you resort to mental gymnastics.
No people aka the citizenry are not defined as the public sector or the private sector.
The private sector is a reference to only businesses that are not under direct government control.

Why will I be evasive?
I am not a mental gymnast like you.
From multiple sources.
Citizens primarily in the form of income tax and GST/HST.
Business in the form of corporate taxes - heavily subsidized and in many cases allowing them to pay zero taxes because of favourable tax laws - again only possible because of the government.
Dont forget these corporate taxes are passed on to the consumer and included in the pricing of products and services, so ultimately it is the citizens that bear it.
This does not help your argument.
Where does the money citizens pay in income tax come from?

Answered already many times.
If you want to keep repeating the same thing I will leave you alone to do it.
I'm trying to help you. You seem confused. Which is why I'm asking you questions to get you to understand.
Or you're trying to walk back your initial claim that the government helps corporations by bailing them out with some mysterious "government money".

So we have a Chinese communist/Marist mayor
And a Muslim assistant mayor
How long till our city looks like London with all the Muslim violence in the streets and the push to live under sharia laws
Won't be long now. Did you see the vids of Diwali at Yonge/Dundas. Not enough cops to stop them.

Good thing Trudeau is finally attempting to fix immigration now rather than calling everyone a xenophobe who has been suggesting he do that for almost a decade.

Apparently controlling immigration is no longer xenophobic! You know why?
Because Trudeau is doing it that's why!

I agree, This is exactly what’s going to happen.

When you see certain policies and scenarios, see if they have already happened in other countries and what the outcome was. There are so many analogs you can use to see they are going to destroy Toronto as they have places like London.

Don’t be ignorant and look the other way due to fear of coming off racist, because most of us aren’t.

He is just posturing on lowering immigration and cracking down on the student visas cuz he's down huge in the polls and an election is coming soon....and is way too much of a narcissist to step down.
If you look at how much they are actually planning on reducing immigration the numbers are still huge.

And that is the point...trading his virtue signals for votes.

They are Canadian citizens.
But using your reasoning, we have a British premier, and a Scottish-French mutt as a PM.

While I agree with your bottom line that the consumer pays for everything since corporate costs get passed into the prices. However, consumers have choices as to what the consume, so they choose to pay those prices.

Now to allude that corporation are heavily subsidized, not sure how you get there. Corporate taxes are about 35% of personal taxes, so they are paying for things. Also, they employ people, who otherwise wouldn't be paying income taxes, so indirectly these corporations are responsible for the lion's share of personal income taxes. They also pay other taxes, either directly if they own property or indirectly if they rent their premises through their rent. Do corporation get tax incentives, sure, in some cases I don't agree with them, but the intent is to have them reinvest in their company and grow and employ more people to increase the standard of living overall.

You have a very distorted view of things, which leans to a very socialist perspective.
Corporations pay so many more taxes than just income taxes. They incur payroll taxes, WSIB premiums, EHT (Employer Health Tax), capital taxes, property taxes etc.
