percentage of Ottawa hobbists

The overwhelming majority of Ottawa hobbyists have no idea that TERB or any other website exists.
To that end I’m curious if intel is being gained elsewhere? Another site or forum? There are definitely providers you’d never see on LL but who are on Tryst - and appear to be an upper tier at that.
The majority of hobbyists are not on TERB. How do you think these people can continue with their scams on Leo List? If hobbyists were informed by the information on this board, there would be a lot less scams going on and scammers out there.

I am not so sure about that. I trawl through LL a bunch, and see a reference to TERB almost never.
Ladies who have personal websites are more likely to have a reference to TERB for their reviews though.
I would surmise that these are likely veterans or seasoned providers. LL is replete with tons of newbies, out of towners, fly by nighters, day crawlers, one in a mooners, scammers, etc. So yeah, a roll call here would be as useful as standing in the middle of downtown Ottawa and counting its population, lol.

I had no idea about Terb until a provider I used to see told me about it many years ago. I was a member on another board (blue board) until it became a cess pool because the mods weren't doing a good job and started allowing non-members to post. Trolls destroyed that board and eventually most reputable providers stopped advertising there. Sadly it seems like terb is headed that way too.
A new client wouldn't know about these reviews boards but after a while they will find them through a google search. There are atleast 3 review boards for Ontario but I believe terb is the one with most number of reviews.
Not sure what is the percentage for other providers , but my clientele , maybe 10% are on Terb (7% lurker & 3% members)
I think the ones that are here are mostly the ones that like diversity and are looking for what’s new in the industry.
And of course the ones that like to be entertained by all the threads

I actually think that a lot more people are on terb than is often believed. It’s 2024, everyone knows everything is on the internet. Almost nobody these days goes to a restaurant, auto shop, movie, hairstylist etc etc etc, without looking for reviews online. I think a lot of guys don’t tell sps that they are on here, fearing that they have a negative view of TERB, and when sites like these first started it was considered a faux pas to tell a girl you were on here.
I can’t believe that there is a huge majority of guys who book escorts based on websites (independent, Leo, agency, Twitter, etc) and don’t look for or discover or stumble upon review sites.

I suspect there's a lot of people who vacuum up whatever information they can just by browsing, but that number would drop massively once they have to create an account somewhere.
I have a regular, who is amazing. She brought a friend to Ottawa and she had absolutely zero references, no Terb presense, nor LL verifications ... we were blown away by all of the hobbyists that connected with her. It was surprising. She made a lot of money without any Terb recommendation. I agree, most are not on Terb
Only 10% of your clients tell you they are on Terb though. How would you know if they don't bring it up / the topic doesn't come up or they just deny it? There are many members that don't bring up TERB in a session or don't acknowledge if asked. I personally don't talk to anybody I am seeing about TERB, except for a few exceptions from time to time. There is no reason if it doesn't come up, and if it does come up in a first session I don't acknowledge it as its irrelevant.
I think its a bit off putting to mention that you are a TERB member / reviewer during a first session. That's the way its largely been in Toronto where I started - just keep TERB to yourself until some comfort is established and it comes up. I know Ottawa is more open (the old C board), but I have heard bad stories both in Toronto and in Ottawa about some high post members using their status to try to influence things when they meet people. I have no interest in causing any stress or levels of uncomfort.
I can concur with this, I know lots of ladies who have NRPs and don’t advertise nor engage on the forums and are frankly smashing it. Of course the reverse is true too, some ladies have built their business here.
Another indicator of percentages is the vast number of clients that seem to be starting from ground zero. I wish the cascade of reviews I have coast-to-coast helped grease the gears a little more but unfortunately a lot of clients do no research and aren’t looking at reviews
Some ladies track where they receive refrences and I most commonly hear Twitter. I expect I have about a 50/50 split in this post Elon Musk world if I count all the review boards and so all things considered, I believe the statement that the majority of clients aren’t here is accurate even if this is not exactly data.
So this has piqued my curiosity to frame it from the other side of the street. How many providers are on TERB, active to some degree, or possibly just lurk? Is there value for them knowing the community or competition?
There are some very active and articulate ladies in the Ottawa community who post and answer regularly (thank you!) so wondering would a touring provider lurk or create an account for a community they come to regularly? Or framed another way if you Ottawa ladies tour do you check boards where you are going?

I have built a great reputation over the years and I can admit Terb had something to do with it at the beginning. As a spa girl , it’s so much competition.
The spa I worked for , made it a point that we earn good reviews and we were celebrated for it.
It helped bring new clients my way and since my clients have a tendency to repeat, I gave build my clientele that still follows me to this day.
I think I used to have Terb clients , but the majority of them left the board when it became a drama shit show and never came back to it.
Now my clients are getting older and they don’t have that hunting instinct anymore.
They rather security and comfort.
The ones that like diversity, are usually asking me who else I would recommend and I am happy to send them to the provider I feel will be a great match for them. They thank me when they come back and are asking for my next recommendation.
Truthfully, I mostly send them to Kimora , Tara , Ruby , Valerie , Nadia and Candace. I know they are professional, safe and my clients will have a good time.
It is true that most probably some client will keep the fact that they are a member to themselves, but I can’t talk about what I don’t know so I base my information out of what I do know.
Btw , I like the new drama free Terb and to be a participating member of this community.
