No dick measuring from my side - just having fun. But like I said, it's a matter of perspective. Coming back to town to visit, I've stayed out in Kanata and driven downtown for appointments. I've stayed out in Orleans and driven to Bells Corners for appointments. But when I'm in town, I'm setting my own schedule. I'm not having to manage work or other commitments (other than some family obligations), which are considerations that most of you who live there would have to. Just means that if I'm interested, I can't think of a distance within the city that would seem too far for me, because whatever the furthest distance is, it's probably still shorter than what I've regularly travelled here at home. It's funny how this evolved into a dick measuring contest. "Ottawa? Heh...You haven't experienced Toronto traffic!". By that logic, people from Los Angeles can laugh at you for crying about Toronto traffic. And then people from New York can laugh at them.
At the end of the day, yes, Ottawa keeps getting worse. I'm not saying it's the end of the world. I just am not personally willing to drive 45 minutes to an hour to meet an SP/MA. Is it that serious?
If I was living there, entirely possible I'd feel differently about it.
