the crypto top signal is not complex... Ethereum rips, alts rip ...happened earlier this yr then BTC dumped...in that case, it was a local top

the true top signal is when eth makes a new ATH and alts go insane for months (ie alt season)....that's when you should start liquidating....alts are overall still relatively weak , so the eth and alt rip happen , likely , in sometime 2025.
I'm calling my shot right now : Sept to Oct 2025 and I'm out ! See you guys at the Tesla dealership !

I’m going to be much more conservative, since after the initial run (from now to April), I will have met my target. I will dollar cost average out in March. Then, with some “play “ money dollar cost average in, in alts only, in May/June when Bitcoin goes through it’s pullback phase.

After alt season, with my gains, I will travel the world to hobby, and like you, get a Tesla. Model 3, white, with full self drive.

Alts I’m betting on, in order of allocation:
Doge
Sol
Cardano
Shiba inu
Pepe

Dot
Enj
Beam
Avax

To me it makes no sense to hold Bitcoin during the fall rally. It may go from 120k to 150k, a 25% increase, but with incredible risks of it crashing. The risk:reward isn’t there. However, most alts will at least double to triple. At that stage, everyone will be pouring their Bitcoin money into alts, and that’s where the real money will be made.

Last cycle showed there was no benefit holding Bitcoin from May to November, as it didn’t really create a much higher top. Due to diminishing returns , it could be even worse this cycle.

Was thinking that the best way to liquidate my alts is through a crypto visa debit card. Load Your crypto on it and spend it anywhere worldwide where visa is accepted. You can even withdraw cash at atms around the world.

The alternative is to convert the alts to cash on the exchange and withdraw it to your bank, paying a pretty high fee. That then gets recorded and you will pay even more in taxes.

Tech companies being slaughtered today. Had it been a green day, Bitcoin would have been up much more

Yup, just as I thought. Already made up almost all of the 6000 point.

Early in the parabolic phase we will experience a few of these dips, but they are bought up quickly.

This phase will last a few more weeks, until we experience a multi week drawdown. Great time to buy more, as Bitcoin will experience a second price discovery surge.

As we get later into the stage, it becomes much riskier to buy these major dips, as it could be the final one, with no recovery.

don't go by time ....each cycle is slightly different in terms of timing ...go by the eth ATH signal ...actually, in particular, when eth absolutely goes on a tear for. like 2 weeks

back in May 2021 it literally went from 2k to 4k in a few weeks, then market capitulated (similar thing happened back in 2017)

people count for an extended cycle (cause of trump) but i wouldn't gamble on that...you don't wanna be left holding the bag ...profit is better than no profit

Good point. I doubt that there will be any Trump effect. Will wait for the eth signal to start liquidating my positions, as well as other indicators.

The best indicator example, you walk into the Brass Rail on Thursday ( Industry Night ) , in your best work Boss suit . . .
The hot stripper that's dancing for you and miscounting songs in the VIP asks you if you work on Bay Street and if you can tell her what Bitcoin is ?
That is your indicator ! :ROFLMAO:

markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent ...the eth signal will not fail ..don't say I didn't warn you

The big deal for Bitcoin, other than the greater fool theory, is that Trump had huge contributions from the bitcoin industry (the guy who once said he didn't need to raise any money "since I am SOOO RICH").

The idea is to replace the SEC folks with those more favorable to getting bitcoin ETFs approved for public trading. The result would be ETFs (that don't directly own any equities) and bitcoins that have no fundamental value.

What can go wrong? More folks getting scammed by sales to the public who have no clue about the risks of holding what has no underlying value other than what the next person will pay for it.

It’s not going to end well.

Trump is talking about paying off the national debt with Bitcoin.

The entire government is now being bought by the crypto industry. To the point where one senator is going to push a bill to start selling the US gold’s reserve snd replacing it with Bitcoin. This could have disastrous consequences down the road.

Millions of people don’t know their hard-earned money is going into these Bitcoin etfs. A portion of their pensions will be funneled into funding the most sophisticated and global ponzi scheme to line the pockets of those at the top. Bitcoin will endure a a major crash in the next few years, perhaps crashing 80% or more. Millions of people will be unknowingly funding this scheme.

It’s all about greed and making quick and easy money. 99% of those buying crypto are just looking to make a quick buck.

Meme coins such as Doge and Pepe now have greater market caps than companies such as Boeing and Nissan. Yet they provide zero value to society. This is worse than the dotcom bubble, where profitless companies were given huge valuations by the market. It cannot be sustained, and eventually this Ponzi scheme willl collapse, with disastrous consequences.

There are fools who paid millions for an ugly ape NFT and virtual property in the metaverse. If they want to be idiots, that’s fine. But the corrupt crypto industry has bribed politicians with their dirty crypto money and are going to influence them into passing legislation that will give them more power that could upend the country’s economy and affect millions.

Bit BTC resistance point at $ 92,235, can we blast and hold/close there today ?
* just as I typed this I happened to be on Coinbase and BTC dropped $ 1,200 in a matter of seconds, that's how fast crypto trades. Yikes !

Do you guys think BTC will hold $ 89,111 area ? If I was a bear/shark, that's the first zone that I would attack !
At this stage of the cycle there are no major retracements, usually. We just consolidated after the huge rally and are ready for the next leg up. After the next leg up is when we may start seeing major pullbacks, definitely a 20% correction from 100k to 80k is possible.
