I think that we've all been remiss in not mentioning the undisputed "biggest" star of last night's event.

I'd never seen him before but ring announcer Big Moe cast quite a large shadow over the proceedings. The guy's a giant and he's got a booming voice. Wow.

Roy Jones Jr. was OK. The play-by-play man tried to create too many new word cliches. A couple were OK, "punches in bunches". And Rosie Perez was useless.

So I agree with the scoring and the decision but really this is a win for Tyson because he lasted 8 rounds against a much younger fight at the age he is. This is a loss for Paul because he couldn’t even knock out a man almost 60 years old.

Stamina won the fight. That is an age issue. Not a fighter issue, if that makes sense.
You liked the script, nice, you should leave this review on Rotten Tomatoes.😂

Speaking of scripts, whoever told Jake Paul to say NOW HE MUST DIEEEEEE during the weigh in, deserves to be racked within four inches of their life. I physically cringed and felt second hand embarrassment. So so bad. WWFtier

OH MY GOD!! It's you!!

I agree, I saw that last night after the fight - caught up with the whole charade. They did talk a lot of shit, real over the top stuff to sell this thing. They made off like bandits. $$

I just wanted to thank Netflix for giving us an actual boxing card. I can't recall the last time there was a non-PPV card to watch. I love boxing and hate MMA.

I was a little boy and used to watch Gillette Friday Night Boxing with my dad and then stand on my parent's bed and box against him. Boxing is brutal and so much more entertaining than a ground and pound or a choke out.

It's "The Sweet Science".
Took me a while to get into MMA because I didn’t understand it. How come you never liked Mike? Which boxers do you like?

Paul considers himself a legit boxer, ok then, set up a fight against Oleksandar Usyk. Enough with these sham matches.
A legit boxer does not necessarily mean a championship caliber boxer. This is only his 8th fight.

You are probably correct, though. He should move up in class, but incrementally.

He boxed better than I expected him to. Usually he’s more loose and imprecise. He’s putting in the work, gotta give him credit where it’s due. Not for beating Mike but just for everything else

I've always considered him a thug.

In any sport, I can only cheer for people that I like/respect. Talk about eating babies, biting Holyfield's ear, abusing his wife etc. eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.

I am not sure that it is a loss for Paul. I have watched many fights and Paul can certainly hit harder than he did in this fight. In my opinion, Jake carried Mike for most of the fight. I believe that he did not want to hurt Mike, as they actually have a lot of love and respect for each other. It was obvious from about the second round that Mike was cooked, and Jake just cruised to an easy victory without hurting an old over the hill boxer.

It’s not a loss but not a win either tbh. There’s lots of young boxers who could’ve done the same

Took 2 beatings from Hagler. Syrian brawler from New York. Hagler loved trading with guys like that - did the same to Tony Sibson.

Hagler/Hamsho 1....Hagler was the best fighter that I ever saw...Hamsho was one of the toughest.
