I contact only when I’m asked to and even at that I’m bad at it and usually forget. It’s more because I don’t work many hours and I’m low volume so to get an appointment with me is more times a no then yes so if I know I’m reach out to those who have asked.

Unless requested I don't want any providers randomly contacting me in any way.
I've screened and provided my real # to some SP when asked. Once we've met and get along and they see I'm not an ax murderer, I've asked them to switch to my text app number. Never had one say no yet.
And you don't pay for text apps so...
IMO a provider should NEVER contact a client out of the blue, unless that client has explicitly stated that it’s ok to do so. One of the golden rules of discretion in this business. Even for the non attached guys. Many allow a preview of their texts to pop up on screen or their watch. Imagine having your phone on the desk at work, meeting a colleague and a message from a SP pops up?
I have not had a provider contacted me out of the blue. I figure it's because I am not a regular spender. However, I recently have a booker messaged me after I gave a not so positive review to one of the girl. Although I understand as it was her first day in town and my review kinda hurt their potential touring income. That being said, I wasn't too please.

It's never been an issue on my end. I'm in a situation where I hobby frequently with my missus (easier than Tinder unicorn-hunting

A little but sometimes it’s part of the whole fantasy so I kinda get it
then I have some literal amazing clients who will sit there and listen to my BS. It gets lonely in this industry sometimes you wanna talk about your day to someone just like you would if you worked in a store. It’s nice sometimes when you meet a client and the vibe is just so right and it’s like wow we really could have been besties outside this room and I love that we can continue communicating

I pretty much tend to always do this. But I mostly like having only one or two SPs that I see as a regular so it makes sense. Like I said upthread though you gotta be careful. The line between texting buddies and something else gets blurry real quick. I've been bitten on the ass by that twice now. So, these days I'm trying to mostly see agency girls instead of indys since there is that nice "cutout" in between that keeps things professional (so far). I've got my sugarbabies for the "relationship" part of it.
i had a provider call me a couple of times... a near disaster... of course it happened while driving with wife, and phone was hooked up to bluetooth and on screen... i had to think fast as there was no way i was answering that call, but wife of course wanted to know why i wasn't answering the call... i blubbered something about it being my bosses secretary and i didn't want to be reached about work shit during my off hours... then proceeded to block her and every other number of a sex worker that i knew...
in the case of this gal, she was an odd case - met her as an MP but enjoyed full service from her for a long time - she was an outstanding lover, but very uncomfortable accepting the fact that she was fucking guys for money... and she was having a hard time making ends meet so my sense is this drove her to reach out when she was in need of cash...
long since out of the biz and happy to say that she met a guy and is doing ok...

Agree, to be clear I’m talking about chatting when we meet, not by text in between meetings.
So.....you knew it would only be a matter of time before I posted something.....so on Terb 3 providers have contacted me out of the blue. 2 on X (twitter) after I started to follow them on twitter! Then 1 on my email account and then I realized i had signed up for her site using that email. But nobody has ever reached out on my cell number....only when they were confirming our session that day or door codes or such. Maybe I have been lucky? i guess the question is why are you using your real addresses for email or cell that is your personal everyday phone? There are tons of post on how to do all this very discretely!?!?!?

I had an MA that I had seen for years on an on and off basis text me out of the blue a few years ago. It was not completely indiscrete as she kept it pretty light. Also, 8 have a second SIM in my phone for this that I keep muted. She had been retired for a bit. We talked and agreed to meet at her place. Normally, my encounters with her had been strictly within MA limits, this was entirely different. It was by far one of the most passionate encounters I had ever had. I saw her a few more times and was hoping to make it a regular thing but the last time I contacted her I got a reply back that she was taking a break. I messaged a few times after but never got a response. The whole thing was a bit weird.
In hindsight, she did have some paranoia about former coworkers. She questioned me a lot before we met even though she reached out to me. I have seen people who worked in the same circles and let me know that some people mess with other provider's immigration status. I think that is what was going on here.
