If you travel to the US, I get your concern for having Trump in office based on our profession. For those that don’t however, I don’t personally understand the emotion investment in his win in this election.

Yes and no. You stand up and fight here for a lot of reason but this one, who actually matters, you play it like it's not about you when it's probably the only thing worth fighting about and that actually is about you. They affect your work beyond traveling to the States. I wouldn't have said anything to you if you didn't get involved in this thread in the first place but you did. Stay truly silent at least.
