Let me put this very simply for you.I think you chose to ignore my point that ethnicity along with poverty are a bigger factor than just poverty alone. In other words, culture is the bigger factor. It begs the question why aren't all people in poverty obese if we use your logic or (should I say rhetoric)?
Anyway, the U.S. has fairly generous food program. No one needs to go to McDonald's in the U.S.
Interesting data somewhat relevant to the discussion. I don't think of Aussies or Canadian being unhealthy.
When you are sick you need to be able to access and afford healthcare.
Failing which people will live less as they do in the US.
