If the Democrats win control of the House this year or 2026, there will be endless committee investigations maybe a showy impeachment for television. Progressives will demand such.

That's not really how it came out. Perhaps that was Biden's intention.
We're left with a comedian who says something stupid at a Trump rally and a sitting Democratic President saying something stupid. I have to say generally President's words are more important and impactful, but in this case we kind of know Biden isn't terribly articulate.
Despite the endless media spin (and your spin), most everyone knows these two mistakes are really not big deals and likely will not impact the election.

And therein lies the rub as far as Canadian politics...anyone the Canadian left doesn't like, they automatically compare to Trump without fail and regardless which level of government. And by that virtue alone, they feel uncomfortable as a result of their own cognitive bias.

What's interesting is that below Democratic Congressman Schiff says the Director of National Intelligence under Obama was too definitive that there was no evidence. By continuing to argue that he had seen evidence that still has never been shared, Schiff basically kept the hoax and disruption going during the first two and half years of the Trump Administration.
