Will there be a repeat of the Jan. 6 insurrection if Trump is not elected president.

If he wasn’t successful at it as an incumbent how can he be successful now?

If Trump wins I predict mass exodus of the anti-Trump crowd some of
whom Hollywood celebrities to Canada and Europe.

I also predict Trudeau will bring himself to forgive Trump for having
said his mom had slept with all of the Rolling Stones.

A big part of Jan 6 was to intimidate VP Pence into not certifying the vote. Without that, there would be little reason for another Jan 6. I will put 10% odds of another Jan 6 if Trump loses, Trump has the temperament of a child so that is the 10%.

There will be an isolated idiot here and there. However, I say definitely no repeat. Consider this:
1.Trump begged on social media for his followers to protest each of his court appearances. Almost no one showed up.
2. The Jan 6 people have been sent off to gaol at a regular rate. Thus anyone thinking now about a similar thing knows they will be tracked down and arrested, even months later.
3. The Biden admin is in charge so there will be adequate law enforcement and National guard backup.

In terms of "violence hoping to intimidate Congress and Mike Pence into not certifying" -- no, I don't expect that if he loses this time.

It didn't work last time and Harris is the VP anyway.

What I do expect is the other parts of the plan to be more front and center.
There will be moves to contest the vote in various states, local officials won't certify (or try not to), delays and chaos will be the order of the day and all this will be used as an argument to not certify on the 6th if possible.

Many more lawmakers will be willing to go along this time, both because Trump suffered next to no consequences for it last time and because the chaos at the early stages will be better planned.
Again, this will depend a lot on how close things are. A big reason people didn't go along with it last time was that Trump needed to flip multiple states and they weren't good enough at laying the ground work.
If they only needed Georgia last time, there is a good chance it would have happened.

So how many states are in play will matter in helping decide if the GOP lawmakers actually try to push it to the House.

So no, I don't expect a riot again (for reasons HungSowel and kherg007 pointed out) but I do expect there be an attempt to subvert the election if he isn't blown out.

Totally agree. They've been putting in their true believers and will try to subvert and cheat from the inside.

It would be cool if Biden took advantage of the new presidential immunity given by the supreme court and had his own tiananmen square moment and orders a MAGA mowdown of the insurrectionists

He's already Genocide Joe, what has he got to lose?
Clearly he's ok with mass deaths.
