The guy looks like he never grew out of his snow boarding days. He figured that he would sell some drugs and have the easy life. Now he can go eat U.S. Federal prison sausages.

First thing that came to mind. Except Ross wasn't really into "SNOW boarding"
Granted, the US has harsher prison sentences, but they also have the highest incarceration rate in the industrialized world, and that's hardly been a deterrent. Until recently, the Yanks would send people to prison for two or three months for unpaid parking tickets, which is something I'd only expect in a backwards banana republic.
