I shaved my chest! (and feel like a Dork!)

I shaved my chest and feel ridiculous. I've been having a number of tests, ECGs, etc. All is fine, but I seem to have a blood pressure issue that is resistant to pills... The nurses have shaved me into a patchwork mess, so I finally decided to take it all off so it would grow back normal.

How the fuck to guys do this? I appreciate the smooth, hair-free women so much more.

True confession. If I feel my chest hairs are getting too long and stick out too far over the top of a shirt without the top button buttoned, I trim them.

Same for my armpit hairs, if they are much more than an inch and a half or so long.

But only to what I consider a "neat" look, and certainly not bald...

I'm a beast so I shave my upper body. I use a professional buzzer and for the back the bro shaver. It's a little maintenance every 3 weeks but I feel way less self conscious when I go without a shirt.

Treading water as I float down the river of time.
When I had my 1 of 8 CardioVerts they had some young twit shave my chest where the 1 pad will go...and she used a lady Bic.. pink one no soap bone dry...she e was basically pulling the hairs out..and she was scraping like she was shaving her legs
I grabbed her wrist and said obviously this is your 1st time..please leave and I'll do it myself!

I fully shave my body hair and it's a two shower and a bath process that takes about an hour. I try to do it at least once every couple of weeks or right before a session with a provider.

I just use razors.

Fifteen years ago, I shaved my ass cheeks before a date, and the hair never grew back, except for a narrow strip on each side of the crack. Few people will actually believe what I just said, but I'm hoping that a well known Escort might confirm that on this board, in a different forum, later this month.

I don’t know how you guys do it. Few years ago I trimmed the chest hair with #3 clippers. All was fine in the shower and drying, but when I put a shirt on it felt hundreds of little needles poking me. After few agonizing days, hair grew a bit and it was back to normal. Haven’t attempted it again!

Could you explain more, how it made you feel ridiculous? Like, you didn't like how it felt? Or the newness of it was strange? Or you look better in full bloom?

I did this as a teenager, and it felt good to slide into clothes and all, but I also felt naked even with clothes on, and that was uncomfortable. I'm so hairy now that the effort to do it regularly (respect to those that can keep it up) would be too much. It would be good to be fully stocked with kindling though ...

Hey, totally get where you’re coming from, going from patchy to fully shaved makes sense, and yeah, it can feel a bit strange at first. It’ll probably feel more natural after a few days once you get used to it and as it grows back, it’ll look even better than before. Props for embracing the change, and hey, now you have a fresh appreciation for the maintenance effort on the other side.
