Question for the ladies

I have always been been interested in the perspective of the ladies since I have always seen them as people and not just play things. I was wondering if any ladies would like to share memories of thier first foray into this business. I can't imagine what it is like to be early 20's and thrown into this world. Did you have mentors? What are the pitfalls and dangers new girls should be aware of? Nothing beats life experience. If at an agency, did you have an understanding of expectations or were you just thrown to the wolves?
I have always been pragmatic and very inside baseball. The minutia has always intrigued me. If you would like to share, I would love to listen.

This is such a thoughtful question, and it's refreshing to see someone take a genuine interest in understanding the experiences of women in this industry. I’m curious to hear stories as well especially about mentorship and navigating the challenges early on.
