It is the photographer and not so much the camera that makes the picture. Just get out there and take pictures, and reflect on what you like and how the shots turn out. A classic street photographer who inspired many was Henri Cartier-Bresson. The camera he used was a Leica rangefinder.nice shots...my dream was to take photography lessons...but the technology moves so fast we don't know what the next great thing will be...is mirrorless the best camera to have right now just shooting shit around town?
Go for it! Developing your own films and scanning them is fun. There are still outfits that process film, still, even 1 hour processing in Toronto.I don't anymore, but every so often I think about digging out my old gear.

The last time I took in 35mm film(off the shelve underwater camera) the girl at Shopper Drug Mart looked at it like it was from outer space.Go for it! Developing your own films and scanning them is fun. There are still outfits that process film, still, even 1 hour processing in Toronto.
Where are you located approximately? There may be a local photofinisher close to you that does film finishing. My favourite when I worked downtown has been Downtown camera, along with Aden camera on Yonge street. Recently, I was told that about one third of downtown’s finishing work was for film photography. They sell new film stocks that are recently released, such a Phoenix colour film rolls that were introduced just this past February. The last time I took in 35mm film(off the shelve underwater camera) the girl at Shopper Drug Mart looked at it like it was from outer space.

That is a tough one. Many stores will send the film out for processing. Maybe, someone independent might be working in your area. Personally, I have done my own and even colour is not that difficult.I don't live in the GTA.
Live in the Niagara Region.
My brother has a few digital cameras and does alot of wild life photography. He is pretty good at it. Mostly self taught. That is a tough one. Many stores will send the film out for processing. On the plus side, there is a lot to photo in your area, and the fruit during harvest, along with the wines, are to die for.
