Against players who are not good enough to play against any men's collage team or any paid and many many unpaid men's teams.

I am sure I can dominate a boxing tournament against terminally ill 4 year old girls, but it wouldn't mean anything.
Um, typically we judge people against their own level of competition. They are the best female basketball players in the world and Clark is doing well against them. I don't expect her to beat Curry or AE one on one to give her respect. Now being on an otherwise shit team means she gets a hell of a lot of touches and has the green light. We've seen plenty of NBA players who looked like s start until they played on good teams so who knows what she would look like on a better squad.

That said, I don't find the WNBA a particularly compelling game.

Such misogynistic comments means nothing.

Women are different. I love watching women sports. I understand that the level of play is different. But in sports i know well, like soccer, i enjoy a girl game as much as the men.

For the record do you know who averaged fastest volley at latest US Open ? A women!!! Beautiful Aryna!!

NotADoctor would enjoy helping Summer McIntosh find very small rocks.

When Chuck speaks, the Earth moves! Is it a case of reverse racism or something akin to the Wilt vs Kareem rivalry?

after watching tml's tweet...

The records keep falling as Caitlin Clark set the single season record for the most assists by a WNBA player 👏
‘Expert’ were telling us she was a great 3 pointer with her excellent long range. But she had no play making skills. That she would need a few years to adapt to the league.

Yeah right she’s all over the field. Its her teammates, that were not that great, that adapted to her and now her team are contenders.

For a long time I discredited the impact of Tiger when he turned pro. But i was wrong, young and an idiot.

Now i see a girl that can transform her sport. Similar to Tiger. She fills arena. Young kids, mostly girl, admire her. she’s raising the bar, and money, for everyone.

I am all for women sport!

She just shine.

I'm assuming that Steve Nash had no play-making skills either. She's a Michael Jordan who looks sleek and elegant in civvies.

As for Sheryl Swoopes, she can go on vacation with Chuck to Galveston.

LA based WNBA reporter Rachel DeMita. I wonder if she'll show up as guest host on Inside the NBA.

And her performance has been opposite. Lots of assists, poor 3 pt percentage. But I'm sure some of that is because without help, the defense completely focusses on her.

But she's now getting more and more points per game. She elevated the confidence hence better of her whole team. That's what great player accomplish. Like Crosby, Messi, Curry and other great team player did via their talent and humility.

You are right. She scored 35 points against the Dallas Wings yesterday on 10-22 shooting and 6-14 from 3. Plus she still dished out 8 assists.

She has a rookie record 761 points with one game to go, beating a record that has stood since 2006

She's increasing the profile of the league but some players resent her. She'll need to become Larry Bird tough to survive.

How does a girl who's fallen off the Iowan turnip truck look so stunning in civvies. She's endorsed by Versace.

She didn't get that dress with Mr. Taggart's beans.

Holy fuck, Versace brand now? Nike was big enough and so were the millions, but damn.
Yeah, she's gonna have hate for a very long time. The envy with women is an entirely different beast. lol

Reasons why her endorsements to date include Nike, Gatorade, Wilson Sporting Goods, State Farm, Bose, Versace, Buick:

Clean cut, well spoken, combination of Magic Johnson and Steph Curry, fills arenas everywhere she plays, record TV ratings for games featuring her.

She said it brings tears to her eyes when she sees young girls walking with their dads to stadiums when she is driving to the games: "That was me a few years ago," she said

Caitlin Clark is 8th in scoring (19.5) and first in assists (8.4) by a wide margin. So according to 3 ESPN beat writers, she is the 4th best player in the WNBA right now behind only A'Ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.
