It's like saying shoplifting candy and murdering someone are both crimes so there's no difference in these individuals.
Quite a bit hyperbolic. You might as well make it shoplifting and child molesting to make your contrast.

I'm afraid I have to disagree, yes this was a lie but his biggest lie is Democrats and pro-abortionists allowing babies to be murdered after birth. LMFAO, how can anyone believe the cult is mindboggling, ahem Mitchy, lmao.
Harris answered very clearly she would try to get back to the Roe standard. 24-month limit, after which it can be regulated and only if the life of the mother is at risk.

It seems clear and was the rule for decades until the unethical Trump Supreme Court reversed it. Trump refused to answer the question if he would veto a national abortion ban with his silly excuse that it is never going to be a question vs. state checkerboard mess of different rules with some states so early limited most women don't even know they are pregnant.

Because I have researched many biblical issues, Christians should know a fetus has no soul until birth. Abortion was common in biblical times by terrible means. It was never wrong in the Bible. Every passage about abortion or fetuses is about foreknowledge of a birth. Many early biblical scholars pointed that out, like Thieme sp. I very respected conservative Christian when wrote his book. Only in recent years have some Christians gone wild over the confusion that a fetus is not a baby until birth, mostly with the influence of conservative Republican groups. It became more political than biblically based.

The Jews, of course, believe no soul until a few days after birth.

The difference between trumps lies vs other politicians is his lies are so ridiculous and exaggerated that if anyone else acted that way they would be sent to an insane asylum. Sure all.politicians tell people what they want to hear even if they have little intention of following through but the sheer volume of lying and gas lighting from Trump is staggering. Trump doesn't just lie to get votes from the people, he also lies to protect his fragile ego. How anyone believes anything he says is beyond comprehension. Trump hasn't won anything since the electoral college and makes up false narratives to pretend like he is a victim. He lost two popular votes, is 1-1 for the electoral college and has lost every single case in court. The people he endorsed mainly lost too. How anyone can't recognize that he is unsuccessful at everything is mind boggling.
People know what they will be getting from Trump in office.

I'm don't think Kamala has fully revealed how she would govern. The media has generally let her just speak in platitudes. It all sounds good, but I sense it would be another liberal Democrat trying to have their turn as another historic progressive President.

That would be okay if voters knew some of the details. Obfuscation is a form of lying. It's just not a lie to her supporters.

I'm not aware of this standard. Is it codified anywhere? If not, that was always one of the issues with a judicial ruling.

They were both bad, but Harris clearly "won" the debate. As always, America loses. Harris has very little in ways of policy, and while Trump has policy nailed down he comes off as a whiny, angry narcissist. How is it that every election cycle the candidate selection gets worse?

You got the point though. These are not on the same scale. Over 30,000 VS 18 (or thereabouts) was the tally of Trump v Obama. And, when caught out, Obama stopped the lie (eg picking/keeping your own doctor). Here's just the first

In his first 10 months, Trump told nearly six times as many falsehoods as Obama did during his entire presidency (18)

Headline:
Trump made 30,573 false or misleading claims as president. Nearly half came in his final year

"The poll was rigged like TERB has never seen before!"

"Bags of Trump TERB poll votes were found on the banks of the Humber River!"

"Moderator, all I need you to do is find 28 Trump votes."
I think Kamala won.

I don't think it was a resounding victory because as some of us have always said debates usually don't determine much.

Here's where I think Trump performed well:
He came off as an energetic 78 year old. She's obviously considerably younger so that was key for him.
I think his closing statement was sharp and to the point. He can't let her runaway from the last three and a half years of the current Administration.

Perhaps one of the more objective comments.

I believe it has to do with what happens if the baby's heart is beating after it is removed from the womb. It's a grim picture. However, I know of at least one Democratic Governor who actually spoke of this procedure.

Abortion is like a lot of things. We might support it under certain conditions, but we certainly don't want to think about the actual procedures.

America didn't get anything concrete from Kamala, she dodged most of the key issues. Trump didn't do well either...Trump for his credit was pretty clear what he will do, Kamala is still about hope and dreams...what is she gonna do about the border? the economy? She did nail it with the Ukraine but Trump also keyed in on her that Russia only attacked because the saw the weakness of the Biden admin and he was right. IMO the needle didn't move on both parties.

Yes that's true people know with Trump it will be another chaotic mess and ineffective government.
Think of trumps campaign promises in 2015 - build a wall ? Nope Hillary in jail ? Nope. Drain the swamp Nope. Tax cuts is the only thing he actually did get done and those tax cuts caused the biggest spike in US debt in history. Now Trump is promising to jail comedians who make fun of him, lock up the Bidens, deport millions of illegals, replace obamacare and reverse inflation. He promised to raise tariffs on china which will drastically raise prices for all Americans and increase inflation. He offers no plan on how he is going to meet these objectives other than jailing people by weaponizing the justice system. Not exactly a plan to make America great is it ?

Regardless, when Ukraine's counteroffensive bogged down last year it became apparent that there needs to be a negotiated end to the war. From what I am reading the Ukraine's incursion into Russia was an attempt to win foreign and domestic support. The Russians don't seem to be too concerned about it and keep hammering the Ukrainians on the main line.

What I fear will happen is that the Democrats will keep funding the war simply because Trump said it should end.

The democrats plan on ending it is to have Ukraine win....Trump's plan to end it is negotiation...I wonder which one will benefit Americans? Keep funding foreign wars or stay out of it and broker a peace deal....

It's very simple for some of us. Trump contained the Federal regulatory bodies. It has expanded again under Biden. If you're Canadian, you should look at the Ottawa government headcount during Trudeau's years.

Is it really a stretch to say Trump will also rollback large spending projects initiated by Biden?

By the way, why are Democrats so interested in getting cheap goods from China? If you were watching the debates, this was one of Trump's points. If the tariffs on China are so bad, why didn't the Biden Administration eliminate them? For the life of me, why do people insist on repeating rhetoric that at its core makes no sense.

Are tariffs the best solution? No. There is a lot of good stuff written on trade with China. The average person (and many politicians) won't follow the arguments. Wall Street believes it can still make money in China although that's changing. Wall Street has their hands in both parties' pockets.

JUST IN: Donald Trump calls for ABC News to get their license taken away after their abysmal debate moderation last night. Moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis are under fire for their continuous fact-checks of Trump without any for Harris. The moderators not only fact-checked Trump but they were also caught giving Harris "toss-ups" during the debate. Harris was able to spew lies, such as the "Fine People" hoax and the "Bl**dbath" hoax without any correction from the moderators.

I see a lot of comparisons to the Korean War.

North Korea invaded South Korea. The U.S. and South Korea pushed back the North Koreans. Of course, the Chinese came in and saved North Korea. After that, there was two years of stalemate as both sides traded limited territory.

I think the Ukrainian conflict ends the same way. There will be a demilitarized zone separating Russia and the Ukraine. The two countries will live in a state of hostility.
