Lucid Dreaming

Over the past few years I've started having lucid dreams (dreams where you know you are dreaming). Had once last night; I was in the middle of dreaming that I was at work, realized that I was dreaming, then thought, "I'd rather be motor boating Katy Perry". It was awesome, then I woke up...then I cried.....

Off and on for many years I've been taking a prescription sleeping pill called Sinequin in addition to prescribed benzos and Z-drugs.

Sinequin gives me beautiful lucid dreams... but only after about 6-7 hours after falling to sleep. Sometimes I'll realize in the dream that I should be getting up so I'll wake up, look at the clock, then decide if I want to go back to sleep to finish the dream. And I CAN! Last week sometime, I kept sleeping until 10:00 am because the dream was so interesting. But I forget what it was! lol

From what I've read quite a few medications that affect the brain, such as tranquilizers, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety drugs, and sleeping pills can cause some of the people who use them to have lucid or vivid dreams, and sometimes nightmares.

I tried CBN for two nights before bed and my early morning dreams were vivid and disturbing. Now I eat a 5mg Indica THC gummy 1 hour before bed and have no problems of that nature.

Nicotine patch, even just a 5 gram dose is a ticket to dreaming almost throughout the entire night.

Tried an experiment, did not patch it to my deltoid for a few days and guess what? No dreams!

Slapped it back on and it's dreamland.

All good dreams too, to boot.

I actually was just talking about my dream with my SIL. Like 10 mins ago.

I’m at the trailer, with her. Some of her friends show up. One of them hits my deck with her car and it starts to fall apart. Boards fell off. The railing, etc. The guest were being loud. They all showed up at like 5am. I started to get ticked off and then realized I was just dream. So changed it up to go fishing in this huge pontoon boat with everyone instead.

I love having dreams you can control.

Are you a former smoker? Does it work even if you are not a smoker?

I've never been a smoker and don't want to risk becoming interested in nicotine but I wonder what sort of effect it would have...

No lucid dreaming here...but I have found that with enough melatonin (15mg) and a little prep work, and can "prime" my dream. There are two women I will dig through their social media for a good twenty minutes or so (I take the mealtonin and got to ebd earlier than my wife so I can do this) and havea decent success rate of dreaming about them that night. One of them is an old flame and the dreams often entail me either running into her unexpectedly or me trying too track her down. The other is a girl I became friends with when I was in college, and she was underage (i didnt know her age when we met and I never touched her)...but she was hot as balls. I have had numerous dreams about us both still being our age from back then, and me ultimately going down on her.
