Now you quote an op/ed? I can write one too about my experiences on how the safe injection site in my neighbourhood has reduced issues for the rest of the neighbourhood.
I found Ford's quote comparing injection sites to handing gambling addicts casino chips amusing. Considering they sites don't hand drugs to users, the comparison is how bad it is that the province builds casinos where problem gamblers can easily go. I don't know if the guy who wanted a casino at Ontario place and wants alcohol in corner stores is really opposed to abetting addictive behaviours.
Um, addicts and crime were extremely common there long before the injection sites.
But again, thanks for admitting you were wrong when you claimed the sites were giving away free drugs.
