Clean tap water

There are people in this country that do not even have access to clean tap water
Freedom!!! And I would hardly call our tap water 'clean' Maybe you won't become immediately ill from consuming it but it's definitely not what I would consider clean or healthy to consume.

Luxury can be broadly defined as possessing something not available to everyone, and knowledge fits this definition. I have expertise in various areas, such as electronics, engineering, management, and finance, among other skills. This diverse range of knowledge has been valuable across multiple fields, enabling me to adapt and apply it to different situations. Ultimately, knowledge provides both security and flexibility in life.

Great question. Would not disagree with the answers. The west, Canada in particular is full of exceptional luxuries.

Public parks and green spaces - many places have none, and some its rare and expensive with entry fees.
Tolerance of multiculturalism. 7 for and 188 against.
Human rights is a little better shared but again, 14 generally good human rights and the rest poor or horrible.

The list is as seen quite large.
LC brain is top notch.

Havig travelled extensively and sometimes 'lived' for extended periods in other areas of the first and second world.... reliable UTILITIES!

Electricity, water, sewerage, reliable natural gas, propane or heating oil delivered to your. Reliable internet and phone service. Garbage picked up at your house every week.

And although I consider it a basic human right, our OHIP health care system is pure luxury compared to many places in the world. Complain about your ailments and waiting for your broken arm to be set or cut to your hand removing the pit of your avocado all you want... you go in with chest pain or stroke symptoms YOU ARE GETTING SEEN like NOW! And if you do have a heart attack in Canada, you do not have the risk of losing your house and going bankrupt like you do in the US.

All of these things seem like essentials to us, but to many people (I don't know how many billion.. but lots) any one of these basics we have here would be considered pure luxury.

And yes, our taxes are high... although we probably only pay for 2/3rd's of what is spent on those things (the rest being baorrowed) but imagine if we lost even ONE of those 'essentials' others would consider luxuries?

We are so safe and secure. And for many, safety and security is a luxury they will never know.

Having more than half your children live past the age of 5 would be up there.

AC in the summertime. Not that many years ago AC was considered a luxury and very few people had it unless they were (considered) rich.

Some people actually believe that AC can negatively effect your health. Their distorted logic is that going from a hot environment into a AC cooled area is not good for you.
