If Trump manages to get a debate on his own terf sort to speak and it's obvious he is being treated favorably, that won't play well with the middle. The left will support Harris no matter what and the Trump crew won't notice any irregularities, but it is the middle, the middle that is in play and can win or lose the election who will see a ham fisted obviously unfair attempt to fix a debate and go what the fuck dudes.
The question is, if Trump and his people are ever in a position to do this, will they be able to figure the downsides of pushing things too obviously. Quite frankly I think not. Pretty sure by now Trump has either gotten rid of or drove away all the adults in the backroom.
