IMHO, Fox shouldn't have settled so quickly, as it turns out, that the dominion voting system in Georgia was a disaster. Trump should have won Georgia in 2020, if the ballots were counted correctly!!

Walz has claimed for years he retired as a command sergeant major, something that is refuted by the Minnesota National Guard. 8. Behrends: “It’s stolen valor is really what it is. And which far-right fever swamp twitter account did you get that load of bullshit? Fox may have won the case. But they would have had a TON of dirty laundry aired in public (I mean, we saw the texts, imagine what they could get people to say under oath), and if they lost (which a number of legal experts say was a very strong possibility) a jury could have given Dominion over a billion bucks.
And let's face facts, Fox new they were lying. They said so. They did it because NewsMax and OAN were stealing their audience. Now, News Max is facing the same legal problem, and they don't have the deep pockets of Fox. I believe that trial will start next month...unless they settle (and they would probably be stupid not to).
But, I guess this is an opportunity to see if your alleged defence works for News Max...

This shows that Fox could have waited another few yrs to settle with Dominion. It turns out that the Dominion voting system was fraudulent, at least in Georgia, so far!!
Good lord....did you even watch the video you just posted? The incident was a group of Trump supporters who illegally stole sensitive software data and had nothing to do with the 2020 election. The GOP led state, including a governor who supports Trump, says there was nothing wrong with the 2020 election.
