I'm going to level with the TERB membership and some of them will have a conniption.
One of the things you see with obvious DEI hires in Corporate America is that it breaks up the succession plan. If you stretch to hire a DEI candidate, you are left in a lurch when someone above leaves the company. Doesn't mean the hire isn't capable or competent. Just means they are not ready.
Now the liberals will keep telling us Kamala Harris is ready to be the President of the United States. If she falls behind in the polls, you will see continued craziness here with the excuse that America won't vote for a black women. It's been pointed out that a black man and a white woman both received the most votes.
I think Kamala Harris will run a competent campaign. I don't think she's the strongest the Democrats got. But here the Dems are trapped in this DEI dance.
Kamala has youth. I think she has a likeable personality. And some of you will argue, she has a great record to run on.
