Biden should resign right now and give the presidency to Kamala, so she becomes the incumbent. Would make her position stronger.
Why do you think that?
How does it make her position stronger?

Everyone knew it would all end after the election. The pardon from President Biden comes and that's that. Nothing's changed.
Predictions are hard - especially about the future.

I still expect no pardon for Hunter.

He immediately backed out of the agreed on deal and tried to demand something else.
Hmm, I thought the deal was Biden would run for a second term.

I don't think it will happen, but it could make Kamala look more Presidential. I think it would be good for her and the party assuming she's the nominee.

I don't see how that would be "good for her and the party".

It splits her focus from campaigning, it opens up all the old conspiracy memes the right was running for ages that she was secretly going to be installed instead of Biden immediately in 2021, and it means she spends three months with no VP and Mike fucking Johnson as her successor if someone manages to get her killed.

It doesn't seem to have a lot of upside.

It certainly seems Trump thought he was owed that, yes.
He's asking for his money back, which is fucking hilarious.

A creative way of pointing out how the Dems lied to everyone, including their own supporters. I think the better reimbursement claim might be by Biden donors who gave money on the promise that Biden would be running.

The border crisis? She comes back from the border and throws her hands up.
She started a $4 billion fund to try to invest in south american countries to keep people from immigrating in the first place.
You think big walls are the only solution?

Rabbit hole? So there was no open border? did Kamala fail or not?
No, there has never been an open border. The border policies are based on exactly that, policies which the REPUGS refuse to address because they prefer to create a smoke and mirror situation.

RICH, did Trump torpedo a plan, a bipartisan plan created by a Republican to run on the "border crises"? YES OR NO will suffice.

I don't think the initial impact of Biden dropping out is good for the party. I don't know if that can be changed.

I think you are still holding on to some residual belief that Biden is okay. He just isn't up to the rigor of the campaign. Try to let go of that for the moment and anticipate the steady criticism that Biden isn't up to running the country. It's a valid criticism and likely one that will be stuck on Harris and the entire Administration.

If you say Kamala has to get out there and do a lot of campaigning for lost time, I would concur. I still think being presented to the public as President Harris is a good optic. She's taking charge.

Too many factors...
- Economic stress of running the country with higher crimes, higher hand outs etc etc
-Voter sentiment...other countries share the same anxiety of how much damage can an "open border" policy can do...

Wouldn't higher fentanyl deaths suggest criminal smuggling?

I know one of your cohorts in crime (get the pun) flippantly said fentanyl deaths in the U.S. basically weren't a big deal relative to Canada. This of course is not true.
