Trump is not part of a political shift to the right nor to the far-right.I see support for Trump being a part of shift of political sentiment
from the left to the right in the western world. What makes the popularity
of Trump among other far-right leaders peculiar is the bizarre character
of Trump what would be deemed unworthy of leadership in other democracies.
Looking past Trump's character flaws his policies and agendas are not
too far out of line for the right. There is already a paradigm shift in Europe
in its immigration policy. Just look to France, the Netherlands, Denmark,
Sweden, Italy etc. Europe has shown signs of rising hostility towards migrants
(Muslims in particularly). Maybe we should feel thankful Poilievre's conservatives
are relatively moderate and that the People's Party of Canada will not stand
any chance to come to power.
The world is too soft. One mean tweet by a man of strength will set you off into a deep dark depression while your liberal leaders destroy the economy and lead us into possible world war 3 by allowing Putin to put Ukraine men through a meat grinder and allowong a third world country Iran to stomp all over Israel.I appreciate your polite response. And I do think you are totally on target.
Immigration is a huge problem. But we liberals have been saying it for years that war, poverty, and climate change will result in vast migration of population. And well... It happens. And we are not ready for it at all, which results in accommodating way too many immigrants that we can handle.
I voted twice for Harper in the past. I am fundamentally a conservator. But a Fraud like Trump never. He's lacking humanity. Harper was harsh but deep down he knew right from wrong.
He should be fired.
Nancy has a nice MILF look to her
That reminds me of this.Trump is not part of a political shift to the right nor to the far-right.
He is part of a shift from the radical left back to the centre. Most of his stances would have been considered left of centre 15-20 years ago.
And it's why the cries of "Orange man is a Nazi" have fallen flat.
The entire political leadership and social paradigm has made a shift to the far-left over the past decade. It's socially stifling, economically nonviable, anti-science, insufferably partisan, nonacademic, and undemocratic.
