i remember during the holiday season I was denied a beer at a bar and I walked. I came across some name that I couldn’t remember.
I asked the bar tender that if she can serve me a beer and she said there are no reason but time is running out ( it was almost midnight). I had my beers and came back home happy.

last weekend I was in the same neighbourhood I could not recognise the name but the feel was the same. I asked the bartender it was just kind of funny conversations. I checked my statement from holiday season and yes it is the same.
Now I m hooked. More friendly, more funny things and more of a conversation (bar tender tried to be “politically correct”) but all good.

now I would be frequenting Korean bar more than I ever imagine( I do pub hopping) so I will hop but to only Korean bars I just love the vibe.
Nothing sexual about it but hell on earth, these girls are more beautiful but still the way they carry she talk and walk is amazing. I have to admit.
Before someone comment. some are born here and some who didn’t have better vocabulary than English speakers.
TIA

Are you talking about an Asian host bar, in this case a Korean one in the GTA ? There are a few around, some are Asian only too. There is often love for sale, often ultra expensive though.

Nome Izakaya on Yonge just south of Shepherd. Very pretty servers from different ethnic backgrounds, mostly Asian though. Fun place. Cute women customers as well
There used to be a few Korean Bars that featured Karioke music where patrons could go on stage and sing. Mostly in the north Yonge St. area. They were very popular but I don't know if they still exist.

I think that the OP was referring to a standard bar not a “ host bar . Isakayas are restaurants in Japan were ”salary men” go after work with their coworkers for dinner and more business meetings and sometimes after to host bars were female attendants drink with them and entertain them.
Nome is a Korean operated knock off of a Japanese Isakaya in Toronto which has been known to hire pretty waitresses and have low priced beer and oyster nights
There are Korean host bars around Bloor and Christie in Korean town and around Yonge and Finch which service Korean guys exclusively or sometimes other Asians as well which are familiar with this concept which is foreign to most other groups in Toronto but very common in Asia. Often if a non Korean guy is admitted it is because a Korean guy introduced him which is rare. These places do not advertise outside of the Korean community and sometimes hire Japanese woman on Visas, but mostly Korean staff and operate very discretely.

There used to be a popular Japanese bar at J Town on Steeles. The name escapes me. Popular with some members of this board. Unfortunately it closed down awhile ago.

Dine in, take out, even freelancers but it is Asian culture, sometimes Asian only as they understand the culture and potentially ridiculously expensive so that straight mpa or sp is more suitable for many. Sweet and sour sugar dating culture there which predates North American sugar babies with and has standard refined GFE.
