Nah, the new best case scenario is that Biden uses his new immunity from prosecution to assassinate rump then resigns because of senility.
Its totally fucked that the SCOTUS ruled that 'former' presidents have total immunity, its one thing to argue the president does but to say that you get immunity for life after being president is messed up.

Its a pretty blatant attempt by the rump appointed judges to delay the trials until after then election when rump can shut them down entirely.
Will Biden respond is the big question.

It's all within the margin of error. A more significant thing was recent polling showing New Hampshire in play. It could either be a November surprise or draw funds away from other states to shore it up if the Dems take it serious.

Honestly I would wait two weeks to allow the polling to settle in after Congess meets in Washington. Alot is going to happen imo week after next. Next week the press will inundate the Reps and Senators. Then the meetings, dinners, phone calls start. They fly home to more local constituents opinions. Come back. More calls, meetings etc. Either they withstand the pressure or break ranks.

Donors will have a big say.

Listening to J.D. Vance's nomination speech last night, and seeing the crowd's reaction, I think he will bring a lot of "undecided" voters over to the Republicans.

Way too early to predict this stuff, but if he "walks the walk instead of just talking the talk", I could envision him running for President in 2028 if the Republicans win in November...

I will take a closer look. But having met two ex presidents and lots of other people with charisma up close there is a wow factor that can't be explained. It results in both love and hate.

Alot will also be what happens the next four years. Two open primaries in 2028.
