I got in an argument with a female friend last week about the Hawk Tuah Girl. For those who’ve been off the grid for the last week, please see the clip below:
I was defending her, while my friend said she was a terrible example for women and that I was part of the problem by liking her.
I pointed out that even in 2024, women are still not free to be sexually aggressive. Those who are are portrayed as sluts, especially so by other women, including my friend. Young women like the Hawk Tuah girl should be as free to be a sexually adventurous as she chooses, especially at this stage in her life, but is no doubt faced with pressure to restrain herself, probably even more so in a state like Tennessee than other places like New York or California. Therefore, once she had a few drinks in her, and was faced with an interviewer and a mic, she let loose and became an Internet sensation. It’s a beautiful thing.
Many women pretend to be prudish in the face of these societal pressures. My friend used to be an exotic dancer. To wag her finger and clutch her pearls at the Hawk Tuah girl is hypocrisy, but I can’t blame her because that’s how society dictates she should react.
The result of these pressures are that many women do not pursue men who they want sexually. Men generally have to do all of the pursuing, and if they’re not inclined to do that, or if they’re only willing to do some pursuing and want the girl to meet them at least halfway, well, then they may have to resort to masturbation, porn, and, seeing SPs, all of which society frowns upon. Or they can marry somebody before first finding out whether they are sexually compatible, and be faced with the prospect of a long-term marriage to somebody that they no longer want to fuck, or get an expensive divorce and try again. And women who don’t pursue men or are unwilling to at least meet them halfway are faced with limited choice in the form of the men who actually are willing to make bold sexual advances towards them, in response to which society dictates that they must resist at first and be chased, before they almost reluctantly acquiesce. And those men may not be the best of men, and may have obsessive tendencies.
We need less hangups regarding sex in our society, not more of them. Yet parts of the United States are gravitating towards becoming like the Taliban (banning porn etc), which is sad to see.
All hail Hawk Tuah girl! She is proud of her BBBJ technique and is beholden to no man. When she breaks up with one she gets under the next one. She is like the SPs in our community who are proud of their sexuality and sexual prowess and willing to proclaim it on social media. They are helping our society move forward in a positive direction. I love them all in a non-creepy way.
