Yeah great game to watch - Messi had some chances that didn't capitalize, but Canada I felt held the ball a bit long at times instead of letting it rip. All in all a great game to watch this evening.

Yeah Messi shit the bed with a couple of missed opportunities if not more. Canada's goalie was pretty decent.

I'm expecting Canada to come out with at least a tie against Peru if not a win. It won't be easy bit doable. 🇨🇦

If we dont fix our defence we'll get peeled apart every game. I said the same thing during WC. We need stronger defenders.

We did have chances but we need to capitalize, get creative and (like England) stop looking for the perfect goal.
Proof is in how many "own goals" scored at Euro so far. Get that ball in the box man!

Canada can have a very strong team with some "relatively" easy fixes.

Canada a win over Chile and they move on to the next round. A draw with Chile and Argentina's win over Peru, Canada advances to the next round. A draw with Chile and a Peru win over Argentina, it comes down to goal differential. A draw with Chile and Peru-Argentina draw Canada advances.

Where was the match held, did the line official get sun stroke?

Chile will be much tougher than Peru, in boca lupo (best of luck). Good on Jonathan David, he's probably moving to Manchester United in late July, I sincerely hope Tejon Buchanan gets more playing time with Inter. Calhanoglu isn't getting any younger.

Canada's Ismael Koné signed a deal with Marseille in Ligue 1 in France. Bombito is close to a deal with Lyon in same league. Both played Club St-Laurent in Montreal which is turning itself into the new Bramptom ;)

We need more of our players in Europe. Including keeper Maxime Crepeau. He is rocking strong and needs to move over to Europe. But as long as they play!

Canada can beat Chile. They need to start Shaffelberg over Millar. And start silent effecient Piette in defense midfield to give more space to Eustaquio and Koné in front of him. Buchanan is not into it at all. Warming the bench in Italy did not do him good at all. But who can replace him?

Having Larin and David up front hurts us more than doing good. I would keep only David and have a stronger backline. Playing a 4-1-4-1

It was in Kansas City. Currently under a heavy heat period, a bit like last week here in Quebec where we had over 40 celcius temperature with humidex factor.

The Americans were goaded into taking stupid retaliatory fouls, Tim Weah (Juventus) was the worst.

Weah posted a long apology on his instagram. He made s mistake, realized it anc apologized for it. The US team needs to rebound. I like the US team but it seems to me they are like UK… Stuck with the wrong manager.

Excited for Canada to reach the knockout rounds, but i wasn't impressed with their play versus Chile
I was impressed, they attacked even though they knew the score was 2-0 Argentina. They kept the ball in Chile's zone. Their defending was sharp too. They didn't settle for a draw, they scored but it was called back via offside.

Chile is a much tougher opponents than Peru, Canada hung in there for the grind fest. A plethora of yellow cards as both Selects took turns hacking each other. Jonathan David looks good as a trequartista, Canada became more dangerous when Tajon Buchanan came in as a substitute. Huge stepping stone for our nation.

As they should...note Canada had the advantage since Chile was playing a man down when they were issued a red card at the 27th minute.
