p.s. Before the 7th, restrictions in Gaza were regularly being lessened, more Gazans were being allowed travel to and through Israel,, and more Gaza businesses were doing international business. Hamas didn't like that though so they chose to launch a war.

I did not claim Gaza was occupied before October 7, so that is an outright lie, once again. I said Israel occupies much of the land that belongs to the Palestinians, along with the West Bank. The land that belongs to the Palestinians per the 1948 borders is much more than Gaza and the West Bank, but minimally, Gaza and the West Bank. Infact, to be more specific it is only Gaza that Israel does not occupy. They occupy everything else. This is a statement of fact which you tried to purposefully lie about. But as I have told you many times, I pay attention to what I say and stay razor focused on what I actually said, not anybody's purposefully misinterpretations.

And yes, we know Gaza and West Bank have two different leaders, courtesy of Bibi propping up Hamas, ferrying cash to them in an attempt to delegitimize Palestinian statehood.

And no, the 1948 borders DON'T belong to Palestinians. They rejected that offer. The UN says that the '67 lines should be the basis for the creation of a Palestinian state but until they are willing to negotiate, it won't exist. It surely won't exist while leaders like Hamas (and you) reject the Jewish presence.

I love the way you guys keep making up new definitions for words. Israel occupied Gaza between 1967 and 2005. Since. For the last 19 years there hasn't been a single Israeli exerting rule over Gaza. Israel and Egypt control their own borders with Gaza and Israel maintains a blockade on Gaza imports by sea but that isn't occupying any more than Germany, Italy, and France are occupying Switzerland.
