Truth hurts.

JV is correct in everything he said. Time to go Danny.
I am surprised he didn't mention the nepo kid Lance Stroll...Is he afraid of the blowback from fellow Quebecois or how much power dad Stroll has?

Agreed. Lance and Lawson need to go to.
I agree on Stroll but I don’t think I would give up on Lawson just yet, he’s only had 3 races. Put him beside Tsunoda for a dozen races and see how he stacks up. Sargent can go anytime and losing Magnason wouldn’t break my heart.

Is Haas such a bad organization they can't get a half decent driver?

Can someone explain how they determined who got pole when they had the same time?
First to set time wins pole .

happened when JV won the championship in 97

JV , Shumi and HHF all had the same time in qualifying

JV 1st to set time
Michael 2nd to set time
HHF 3rd to set time

Logan Sargeant isn't going anywhere, his family is richer than Lawrence Stroll.

Had a feeling there was either a financial connection or something else for Logan to be in F1, you answered it.

From Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Sargeant_III
Sargeant operates an expansive, multibillion-dollar conglomerate of private global enterprises consisting of aviation companies, oil refineries, oil trading operations, alternative fuels development, and oil and asphalt shipping, his father's company, Sargeant Trading, being the largest fleet of asphalt tankers and barges in the world. He is also the owner of International Oil Trading Company (IOTC), a company that supplies aviation fuel to the U.S. Military in Iraq, and grosses billions of dollars annually.

Harry Sargeant (above) is the uncle of Logan, but yeah, very wealthy family.

Looks like Uncle Harry is one helluva worker and accomplished man with a distinguished past. US Naval fighter pilot, expanded his dad's petroleum sales, company into an incredible and innovative asphalt and bitumen company in addition to lots of other companies including supply the US military with fuel. But has a shady side to him and who he associates with. Paid Lev Parnas and Rudy Guliani to visit Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden and found himself embroiled in the impeachment of Trump. Lots of lawsuits, like Trump. And lawsuits with his brother, Logan's dad..

Logan seems to down play his rich uncle's role, if any, in his F1 career. Who knows. Except that Williams will sell a seat for the right price.

Heard from some friends who went to Montreal that the F1 event was a mis-managed shit show. The promoter of the race, I forget who it is, has always been a fuckup and the contract with him should have been terminated long ago and awarded to a more competent entity.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Canadian Gran Prix gets the axe in the not too distant future. Track is not in good shape either. But the drivers (used to at least) LOVE coming to Montreal for the night life and Guy Laliberte's (Cirque de Soleil founder) private party. I've been to it 3 times and it was pure opulence and debauchery. There were some private trailers (they looked like those old fiberglass Trillium trailers) with top Montreal sp's mixing with ultra VIP's in an even more exclusive party in the house. You could take the girl out to a trailer for some fun.

This is a good story on the Montreal GP fiasco. But you gotta go to Youtube to see it. Kym Illman does great work and has become really well liked and respected in the Paddock. He retired from something and a couple years ago decided to get into F1 photography as a little passion project. He has taken off like a rocketship from there in just a few short years. We worth following. Excellent photography too!

Spain was quite an action packed, clean, race. Max' RB was the best car so it wasn't even close.

Max won again, but Lando proves (to me) he is maybe the best driver on the grid.

He can keep up with or beat Max when wheel to wheel... just that the McLaren isn't in the same league as the Red Bull when it comes to power and overall car.

Would be very interesting race between Max and Lando in the same car.

I'm really proud of Verstappen's succes, but he's made F1 so boring now because of how dominating he is 🙁
In the last 20 years F1 has always had a dominate team winning almost every race. Before RB it was Merc, before that it was RB again with Vettel, before that McLaren and Williams. It's nothing new and will continue no matter how many rule changes there are.
