That is exactly what I said. He said "Gaza wont return to what it was before. We will eliminate everything". You are repeating the first part of what I said and calling it a lie.
So he did say We will eliminate everything. If he wanted to just say Hamas, he should have said We will eliminate Hamas. He said Hamas will not exist, Gaza will not be what it was before, we will eliminate everything. Which means, Hamas, civilians, animals, buildings, homes, schools etc.,
This interpretation also makes sense because according to the Israel, "There are no non-combatants in Gaza". That was their President's quote.
