Unsolicited text message from an unfamiliar number

Hey all,

I received a text message from a number I did not recognize. The message said it was from Natallia, gave the rates, the location and a list of services (some I am definitely not comfortable with). What concerns me is that I don't know the name or the number. How would she have got my number?

Anyone else experience this?

I have. From a provider I messaged many months prior and had forgotten about. Any unsolicited or messages out of the blue is an automatic block for me.

It was a 613 number last 4 digits 2703. Definitely not someone I reached out to as I generally only see a few regulars.

Once you use your number to contact SPs (even though they are considered your *regulars*), be prepared to receive these unsolicited messages. This is a reason why I only use text app numbers for this *hobby* (and I know there has been plenty of discussions about the pros and cons of that so I won't rehash them here to derail your thread).

It's just the nature of this biz where SPs may also review and share intel about clients to other SPs, just like what we are doing now. It doesn't mean that's the right thing to do e.g. the SPs you saw might have inadvertently shared your # with other ladies (and I am not accusing anyone of anything) but I hope we are also not naive enough to believe otherwise.
