GTA & Thereabouts...
Looking for some linen shirts, custom preferably. I typically buy from Harry Rosen but I feel like I could do better. Anyone have an "in' or suggestions?

Me too.

I’ve been thinking of ordering a few custom linen summer shirts with the contrasting pattern inside the collar. My neck is 16 my chest is 46 and my pants are 34 but usually 32. So shirts that fit my chest are loose everywhere else. I’ve intending to get rid of that COVID 10 lbs, build back up the pipes a bit THEN order them.

That was three years ago

So… fuck it I’m going to order some anyways!

I will report back where I find some!

Do tell.
I'd be interested if you find a good place.

I don't know how you guys justify it. A $50 Uniqlo linen shirt after 20 minutes of wearing it will probably look the same as the custom one - wrinkled and sweaty.

And these custom places will make sure that the shirt is sitting on you tight like a glove so you can't breathe (let alone have dinner) because according to them that's the point of ordering custom. Fuck that.

I'm inpatient... I bought a few from Harry Rosen. Pricey, but I have luck with them as I'm hard on clothes. I must have issues as that would be three 1-hour visits with some SPs.

I'll still follow this thread. You hear the stories of guys getting exquisitely tailored shirts from Vietnam, etc. using the finest materials for reasonable prices... I must not roll with the right crowd.

If you like custom shirts, I’d recommend Ascot Chang. They’ve been around for a long time but not sure if they’re available in Canada.

Here’s their site

Harry Rosen also has an in-house custom tailor service.
