With all the talent England got walking around, if they don't win the Euro this summer they should hang their heads in shame.

Tournament starts in 4 weeks from now. I cant wait

I read that Ronald Koeman didn't call up Joshua Zirksee to the Orange. A mistake, he played a big role in getting Bologna into the CL.

He returned to action in early April from a hamstring injury. It's a tricky injury, he stayed on the bench against Juventus. Calafiori has been a mainstay on Bologna's defense will Spalletti select him for the Azzurri?

Starts June 14 ends July 14. Top teams France. England. Germany I don't think the Azzurri are going to do much, but you never know

I remember the 2000 Euro, the Azzurri were riddled with injuries, they came this close to knocking off France in the Final.

Fun fact:

Out of the total 15 Euros played so far, the home team has only won it 3 times (Spain 1964, Italy 1968 and France 1984)

They are young, with a new coach, not the same team they won the championship with. I don't expect them to win again...however they will be good for next few tournaments. Seen them play Ecuador last month it was exciting to watch. Defensive not as strong as typical Azzurri but definitely play smart.

They're going in the right direction, the Azzurri's problem previously was hanging on to the 2006 WC players for too long. Spalletti is keeping his selections a secret, the discussion is around who will start at center-forward: Retegui or Scammaca...two 25 year olds.

I feel sorry for Harry Maguire, Jack grealish not a bit. Back in 21, he refused to take the overtime free kick against Donnarumma, then he threw Southgate under a bus by claiming he was not asked. Being so underhanded, why would Southgate want him back.

Grealish is of irish descent, irish Guy is enjoying this.

England only wins if they stop playing like England. If they can't adapt their play, they'll always lose. Been watching this happen for decades

They also have an insane press corp, the players feel the pressure. Praising them to the skies one minute, stabbing them in the back the next. In comparison, the Italian press seem like smores eating pussies.

Italy vs Albania June 15, Albanian tv personality in Rome.

Agreed! If you watched the Beckham series on Netflix you got a glimpse of what he went through. Their press are pond scum!
