I have no skin the the American politics game. I can approach it as an outside spectator without letting my emotions get in the way.

So when people who actually hate someone for other reasons suddenly burst into righteousness to mask the fact that they just hated someone for the way they looked or spoke...it intrigues me.

His big win is that under a legal technical definition in New York state law, Trump was not found guilty of rape.

Legally, that isn't defined as a crime called "rape" in New York.
Nor is it in Canada. (You cannot be convicted of the crime of "rape" in Canada at all.)
