Forgot how good this scene was, Denzel and Gene nailed this. 💯🔥
No CGI, just two guys going toe-to-toe, I think the 90s was peak acting, for me anyways.

The beauty of CDOs. Merrill Lynch left the Canadian market in 1987. The Canadian Market was to heavily regulated for their taste. Due to their avarice, Merrill Lynch is now under the thumb of Bank of America. It was either be subservient or become another Lehman Bros.

Just rewatched Five Easy Pieces. Saw it when it first came out and identified heavily but wasn't self-aware enough to take heed. The final scene stuck with me. Can't think of the word to describe it but they nailed it. Probably my favorite movie scene ever.

A beloved film, Ian Holm, the English Paul Giamatti.

When they first remove the Timpano and they start touching it, it reminded me of the scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey when the cavemen are touching the monolith.
Still one of my top 10 all time movies.

He's so good in that movie, probably my favorite role he has played. I've seen The Big Short at least 5 times and will probably watch it again over the holidays.

Lean on Me - Morgan Freeman and Robert Guillaume. The HNIC scene. Writing and acting brilliance on full display.

This is probably my favorite movie of the past decade. Sorkin's screenwriting is incredible. Jessica Chastain is an incredibly gifted actress. Idris Elba as her attorney is equally amazing. But this scene right here is so powerful. There are so many parts to it that just hit you to the core.

Molly's Game is a very under-rated film.

I recognized Mikey Madison's talent early on in Better Things, playing Max Fox. The intense performance she gave in Anora confirmed my pov, it wasn't that surprising. I called her character in Once Upon a time in Hollywood, Dr. Satan. She's actually playing Sadie Atkins, the woman who murdered Sharon Tate. She was still a teenager when the film was shot.

Anya Taylor Joy has a rival.

Man on Fire was Denzel at his best but if I had to pick a scene that was the best it's gotta be this one
